Town Administrator Marc Strange is pleased to share that the Town’s marketing and tourism campaign, “Get Lost in Ludlow,” was recently recognized by the PR Club of New England at the 57th Annual Bell Ringer Awards.
At the awards ceremony on June 3, it was announced that the Get Lost in Ludlow campaign earned a Merit Award in the Hospitality/Travel/Entertainment Industry Campaign category. This effort was the only Hospitality/Travel/Entertainment campaign to receive a Bell Ringer from the PR Club this year!
The campaign, which invites visitors and the surrounding community to discover Ludlow and “get lost” in all that the Town has to offer, was launched in July 2024 as part of the Town’s receipt of grant funding courtesy of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission’s (MGC) Community Mitigation Fund.
The Community Mitigation Fund was established to aid communities in offsetting costs related to the construction and operation of gaming facilities in three regions of Massachusetts. Ludlow was one of nine communities in Western Massachusetts to be awarded funding relating to the operation of MGM Springfield.
The Town partnered with John Guilfoil Public Relations to facilitate and manage the campaign.
For the past year, Get Lost in Ludlow has aimed to draw attention to and highlight the diverse range of quality dining, outdoor recreation spaces, and craft breweries, among other attractions that reflect the charm of Ludlow.
