It’s a very close-knit community. People take care of each other, your neighbors take care of you. They’ll check in on your house if you’re away. It’s just a close-knit town.
Kyle

It’s also supportive and loyal. Especially among the small businesses. Our community has been so supportive of us.
Amelia and Alex

I was born in Ludlow. I have a lot of friends here. I was influenced by the soccer, especially Lusitano Stadium. Growing up, we had that soccer thing. We loved playing soccer, and I still do. There’s a great community here.

The annual Portuguese Festival in Ludlow is like a mini Big E! They always have some cool stuff over there.

It’s quaint. It’s quieter. It’s kind of like farm life in a way but it’s also busy, the streets are busy. A lot of action, a lot of people walking around in the community. Everybody knows each other.
Amelia

Growing up here, there’s a big Portuguese community. We’re very supportive of each other. Not only just the Portuguese people but in general being a small town, everybody looks after each other.
